Today’s Deal is on the Anker 5-Port USB Wall Charger.  This 63W unit has two ports that support Quick Charge 3.0 technology for rapid charging of compatible devices.  Today you can pick it up for $32.99, a saving of 63% off the regular $57 price.  Anker is one of the long time manufacture of accessories for Android and iOS and I never hesitate in recommending their products.  This particular accessory I have (albeit the Quick Charge 2.0 model from last year) and it is rock solid and used every day for the myriad of devices I have plugged into it at any given point in time.

Today’s Deal is on the PNY Elite 64GB MicroSD card.  Today over at Amazon you can pick one of these Class 10, UHC-I cards for just $17.99.  The card is fast with an 85MB/sec throughput so it will have no problem keeping up with your Android phone or tablet for storing data and photos.  In fact, it’s fast enough to work in most digital SLRs or video recorders (like a GoPro) or your drone.

As I always remind readers, make sure you check your device to make sure it can handle a 64GB card.  For the vast majority of Android phones and tablets, Today’s Deal will work great but double-

check anyway.  There are a few phones still out there that only accept 32GB cards.  If you are intending this card for another device, be sure to check the specifications out for it too.  Chances are if your device cannot accept 64GB cards, it will still work, you just won’t be able to access all of the storage.

Last month eBay had the Nexus 5X down to $239.99 and it has returned at this great price.  Currently the 32GB model of the Nexus 5X is down to $239.99, a savings of about 40% over what you can pick it up from Google directly. Right now both the Carbon and Quartz colors are in stock.

Obviously with the new Marlin and Sailfish Nexus devices on their way, we can expect to see the prices starting to drop on the 5X and 6P but these are still solid devices.  Plus, as you probably already know, the 5X is upgradable to Android Nougat.

As a reminder, the specs of the Nexus 5X are pretty impressive.

Today’s Deal is literally today only and it is on the current (at least this week) flagship Nexus device, the Nexus 6P.  Today over on eBay you can pick one up either in Aluminum or Graphite with 32GB of storage for $399.  That is $100 off the regular price for this model and as a 6P owner, I can’t say enough good things about this phone.

There is nothing to really frown upon once you start digging into the specifications of the Nexus 6P.  It is powered by a Snapdragon 810 processor that is made up of a quad-core Cortex-A53
running at 1.55 GHz and a quad-core Cortex-A57 running at 2.0 GHz.  That processor is coupled with an Adreno 430 graphics processor and 3GB of RAM.  The 6P on eBay comes with 32GB of storage but unlike some other manufactures, the 3GB of RAM is in all of the storage options.  Like previous Nexus devices, the 6P does not have any expansion options for memory.

Today’s Deal over at Amazon is great for those who need to pick up some extra storage for their devices.  The entire lineup of MicroSD cards from SanDisk are on sale today with the top-end 200GB MicroSD card down to just $60.  That is the lowest it has been all summer and if you have a phone or tablet that can accept that size storage card, it is a good time to pick one up.  Here is the rundown of all the card sizes and prices today:

Today’s Deal over at Amazon is on the Sony Xperia M4 Aqua.  This 5″ Android phone is down to $149 over at Amazon, a savings of over $50.  The phone is unlocked and is compatible with GSM carriers here in the US (AT&T and T-Mobile), it has 16GB of storage which can be expanded thanks to the MicroSD slot and is water IP68 certified against dust and water.  That means this phone is dust and water proof up to 1.5 meters deep for up to 30 minutes.  Powering the Xperia M4 is the Snapdragon 6.15 processor clocked at 1.5GHz with 2GB of RAM installed.  If you are looking to pick up a solid performing phone at a great price, this could be a good option for you.
