Ever read about an update for an app on Windows Phone on a blog then go to your phone, tap Marketplace only to find that it isn’t there for you? It can be a bit frustrating but there is a way around it. Fellow MVP Johan van Mierlo over at MobilityMinded has posted a great How To article on forcing Marketplace on your Windows Phone to update an app. It is a pretty cool – and simple actually – trick that can get the latest bits to your phone.
In trying out the trick myself, I found it works great on my LG Optimum and Samsung Focus.
