Following AT&T, Sprint & Verizon, T-Mobile has now released their Android Oreo update for the Samsung Galaxy Note8 for customers on their network. The news came from Desmond Smith, T-Mobile’s product evangelist, via Twitter late last night.

With the update just now being released, it is going to take a few days before it gets to everyone’s Galaxy Note8 in the wild.
A review of the Galaxy Note8 support page on T-Mobile’s site doesn’t show any release notes for the Oreo update yet but it is likely not to vary much from the releases that have happened on the other carriers. You will be getting Oreo itself, the March Android Security Update, as well as several software improvements to the device itself. Further, the update brings Samsung Experience 9, the company’s skin over Oreo. This is the same version of the Samsung Experience that rolled out with the new Galaxy S9. Again, no big surprises are expected.
T-Mobile, like the other carriers, tends to phase the releases of firmware updates to their devices so don’t be surprised if you check for the update in settings and don’t find it just yet. It should get to everyone this week however.
