With the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus slated to be announced in a couple of days at Mobile World Congress, one of the big questions was around the price points for each device. Thanks to the awesomeness of Evan Blass, we know that both devices are going to top the eye watering $1000 mark.

Doing some currency conversion, it means that the Galaxy S9 is going to be just over $1000 while the S9 Plus will be hella expensive at $1299.
It is already known that Samsung is going to be throwing out some big incentives to upgrade to the new S9 lineup so in reality, not many will pay that full frontal assault of a price. Equally, Samsung could drop the S9 price to a “comfortable” $999 so they can push it as being under the one thousand mark. Still, no matter how you slice it, these are going to be expensive devices.
Both the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will launch with Android Oreo and will come with the much revamped Samsung Experience 9 user interface. The rumored 5.8″ S9 will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of Storage. The larger 6.2″ S9 Plus will have 6GB of RAM with the same storage but, it is rumored to have dual rear cameras.
It’ll all be known in just a couple of days.
