Today over on Amazon, you can pick up a great deal on the SanDisk Ultra Fit 128GB USB 3.0 drive for your PC, Mac or Chromebook. Normally this stub-style USB drive is $79.99 but right now you can pick one up for $33.99, a savings of 58%. If you don’t need 128GB, you can pick up the 64GB version for just $17.99. The Ultra Fit drives are small drives that deliver great performance. They are roughly the size of a USB mouse receiver to give you an idea and because of that compact size, you can leave them plugged into your devices all the time. They don’t protrude like a traditional USB flash drive.
I personally use one of the SanDisk Ultra Fit drives in my Chromebook (the 64GB model) as well as my Windows PC and they were exceptionally well. Performance is outstanding as you would expect from a USB 3.0 device you really hardly notice it is there. Even if you don’t have a USB 3.0 port on your PC or Mac, it will still work with a USB 2.0 port on those devices. SanDisk also loads up a couple of software apps on the drive that can be handy. First is a password protection app where you can password files on the drive. This is great to do if you are storing sensitive data
on the disk as if it were to get lost, anyone could access those files. There is also a photo recovery app named aptly Recovery Pro. This service is good for one year and will sync your information up to the cloud where it can be recovered if you delete it locally.
For you Windows users, you can use Bit Locker for more security on these drives (I’ve done it on my Windows 10 machine).
The sale on these drives is for as long as Amazon has them in stock.
