The collage making app for Instagram, Layout from Instagram, has been updated with a new feature that allows you to add borders to your photos in your collage. Previously the app would let you put your collage together but there were no borders available between your photos. That changes now and a small white border is between each photo if you chose to add it.
This latest update is build 1.2.2 for those keeping score at home and as the name suggest, Layout from Instagram only works with Instagram. Once you create your collage you can post it to your Instagram feed from the Instagram app.

To add borders to your collage in Layout from Instagram, open up the app and select the photos you want to have in your collage. Once they are selected, use the menu at the bottom of the display and find the Borders button. Tap it and a white border is added to each photo. To remove it just tap the button again. great step in the right direction, it would be nice to see the ability to change colors of the borders instead of them just being white. Hopefully we will see that in a future release.
If you haven’t tried Layout from Instagram yet, its free and well worth a try. It makes building collages for your Instagram feed quick and easy and you have a lot of customization you can do to your collage prior to you uploading it like changing the size of each photo.
