Developer Rudy Huyn just keeps at it on his various Windows Phone apps and today we see another update to 6Tag, arguably the best Instagram app on the platform. The update, version 4.1.3 for those keeping score at home, is aimed at improving the memory usage of the app, making it a bit more efficient in its operation on your device. There are no other changes noted in the Release Notes but if you are a 6Tag user, you should definitely go get this update today.

If for some reason you aren’t familiar with 6Tag, it is an Instagram app that if full featured and just outstanding. I personally think it is the best Instagram app out for Windows Phone and certainly better than the official Instagram app which has not been updated in over a year. The app is a free download and supports virtually any Windows Phone including those on 512MB memory devices. There is the option to make an in-app purchase for $1.99 to eliminate the ads. It’s a small price to pay to support the great work that Rudy Huyn has done for the Windows Phone community.
