AT&T has released an update to their myAT&T app for Windows Phone, bringing several feature improvements along with performance improvements. The update, which is available now in the Windows Phone store, is aimed to give end users better support for their devices through the app along with improved trend information on their usage.

The new version 4.3 of the myAT&T app now allows users to get support for their Windows Phone through the app itself. So, for example, if you have a Lumia 830, you can get specific help on that device through the app without having to contact A&T directly or go to their support forums. While it isn’t designed to fully replace those services, it is intended to give users a quicker path to an
answer.
Also, you can now view month over month bill and usage data so you can compare them. This is a great way to see if your data usage is trending up or down so you can adjusted your plan as necessary (so you aren’t over or underpaying).
Finally there are improvements in performance and bug fixes. In using the new 4.3 version on my Lumia 1320 this morning, the app certainly feels far more stable and faster than the previous release.
As you would expect, you have to have a mobile account with AT&T to use the app but the app works for those on individual plans or on share plans with your family. The app is free and available now in the Windows Phone Store.
