The Netflix apps for both Windows and Windows Phone received a minor update yesterday that all users should update to if you haven’t done so already. The update, version 4.1.0.16 for those keeping score at home, does not have any detailed release notes with it but it is widely suspected that this addresses a bug that was causing crashes on the streaming movie and television app.

From my own personal experience, I had issues with the app on my Lumia 635 but generally contributed that to it being a 512MB device. However, since doing this update, I’ve been able to run
the app on that device with no problems at all.
The update is both for Windows and Windows Phone so you will need to get it on all your devices that you currently run the app. If you have automatic app updates enabled in the Windows store on your Windows PC or Tablet then you may have already received the update and the same is true for Windows Phone.
