At the Microsoft Store or on Amazon while supplies last you can pick up a great deal on the Lumia 830 Windows Phone on AT&T. If you sign up for a new 2-year contract or are an existing customer and want to upgrade, you can get the Lumia 830 plus a Fitbit Flex all for free. Keep in mind that just last week this was $99 and the Fitbit Flex (which has been free with the 830 since November of last year) is an additional $90 value. Basically you walk out of the online store with a great phone that at one point was $199 on contract for free. For those of you who don’t want to get a new contract and would rather buy the device outright, you can do that too at the new low price of $399 which is $50 off the regular price. Oh, and you still get the Fitbit Flex.

The Lumia 830 has been tagged as the affordable flagship and it has pretty good specs that make it one of the better Windows Phones available. It has a 5″ display, 16GB of storage on board which is

expandable up to an additional 128GB with a MicroSD card. It has a 10MP PureView rear facing camera and it is the only phone right now on AT&T that has Lumia Denim installed. That means you get to take advantage of the new Lumia Camera app that is significantly better on the Lumia 830 than on other devices that will eventually be running Denim. Also keep in mind that AT&T customers automatically get Rollover Data so your unused data each month rolls over to the next

AT&T Lumia 830 owner here.
The Lumia 830 doesn’t actually have the full denim update yet on AT&T. The settings say you are running Denim, AT&T and Microsoft tell you that you are running Denim, but you can’t use the new Lumia Camera 5.0 until the full denim update is pushed out.
But don’t worry, AT&T promised me in November when I bought the phone the update is coming “soon.” Plus the Windows 10 preview does not include the secret sauce in the Denim update that makes the Lumia Camera 5 work. It still says phone update required. So here I am still having to reboot my phone occasionally just so I can take the picture opportunity that passed a minute ago while I was staring at Loading…
But on the bright side, installing Windows 10 can end the 4 month hiatus on Netflix on the 830.
