Today’s Deal is on the Google Pixelbook and lets you score a free Pixelbook Pen. Now through February 1st, if you order a Pixelbook from Amazon or the Google Store, you will get a free Pixelbook Pen, a $99 value. There is no special code required on either site. On Amazon, visit the Google Pixelbook page, select the configuration you want and make sure you select the Pixelbook + Pixelbook Pen option. It will be added to your cart at no charge. At the Google Store, add the two to your cart and you will see a $99 credit applied to your cart at checkout.
The Pixelbook Pen allows you to access Google Assistant with a press of a button on it, so you can circle something on the screen and get information about it. It also allows for digital writing and other editing features you would expect from a digital pen.
In case you haven’t kept up, the new Pixelbook is equipped with an Intel i5 processor or i7 processor and 8GB or 16GB of RAM and has three different storage options: 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. The display is a 12.3″ with 2400 x 1600 resolution. That gives it a 3:2 ratio which is what was on previous generations of Pixel Chromebooks.
The new Pixelbook is a 2-in-1 design with the tablet portion folding back behind the keyboard to give it a tablet only feel. Like other similarly designed Chromebooks, the keyboard becomes inactive when you are in this mode to prevent erroneous key presses.
The 128GB with 8GB of RAM model will be $999, the 256GB model is $1399 and the 512GB model is a wallet shattering $1749.
As you would expect for a 2017 launched Chromebook, the Pixelbook has USB-C port for charging & accessories and it can run Android apps natively. It can give you two hours of use with just 15 minutes of charging.
Head over to Amazon for more details and to order. Remember, select the Pixelbook+Pen option on the configuration of the Google Pixelbook you want.
