The beauty of the Nokia 8’s Android Oreo update is that it is completely uncluttered with bloatware or skins. It is pure Android, just what the company had indicated they would be doing for all of their devices as Oreo is rolled out.
The update has been released but as these things tend to go, it could be several days before it hits your device. The update will come as an OTA update and will be around 1.2GB in size. You will certainly want to make sure you are on WiFi to download it and install it.
Nokia has been very clear over the course of the past several months since Oreo’s announcement that they plan to offer it on all their devices: The Nokia 3, 5, 6, and 8. The 8 is just the first but we will likely see it hit all of their phones by the time we get to mid-2018.
