If you are a baseball fan and remember collecting baseball cards, Topps BUNT is the app for you. It allows you to electronically collect and trade baseball cards with friends and others in the game. It’s a lot fun and there are daily contests to help you win coins to buy more cards (or you can spend real money to get them). Yes it’s geeky but for baseball fans, especially those of us in our 40s and older, its a great bit of nostalgic fun.
Today Topps BUNT has been updated with a minor update that should dramatically improve the performance of the app. The update is version 1.01.82 for those keeping score at home and if you have the app I highly recommend you get this update.
Topps BUNT for Android – Free (In-App Purchases) – Download Now
The biggest difference I have seen in my testing of this update for Topps BUNT is the loading time. In the previous build it could take up to 30 seconds for the app to load on my OnePlus One. After this update the load time is a far more reasonable handful of seconds. This along should make the update worth it alone.
The other big change is again speed and that’s in sorting out your trades in the game. Like loading times, Topps BUNT took a long time to set up trades or to complete them. In setting one up this morning after updating, the load times again are dramatically better.
There are no new features or changes to the app in this update so don’t look for any. This update to Topps BUNT is purely a bug fix and performance update with the emphasis on performance.
Topps BUNT is free and there are plenty of in-app purchases to help you build your collection.
